The Stronghold competition in 2016 was our team's first time competing in FRC. There were two alliances; a red team and a blue team. There were two towers on either side of the field, and in the middle, there was a row of obstacles that the robots had to cross. The goal of the fame was to eliminate the opposing alliance's tower by scoring in the low or high goal. There were several ways of scoring, however, this was the most efficient method. Reading North Shore Event
This was our team's first competition of this year's season. Our robot was able to cross many of the obstacles and score points by shooting in the low goal.As a rookie team, we did exceptionally well.. We ranked 5th with a record of 8-7-0. Being in rank 5 allowed us to move on. We where able to make it into the Quarter final but stopped there due to losing 2 out of the 3 matches. Our team won the Highest Rookie Seed Award. This was our team's second competition of this year's season. Our team did exceptionally well. Our robot was able to cross many of the obstacles and score points by shooting in the low goal. We added a pneumatic arm to our robot to help cross more obstacles and help other members of our alliance cross obstacles too. We finished off with rank 28 and a record of 4-8-0. We did not move on to the quarter finals. Our team won the Highest Rookie Seed Award. For more information about our matches, you can check us out at the blue alliance
