Reefscape: 2025
|
In 2025, we competed in the FIRST Robotics Competition as a 10th year team with our robot, Plunk. The game that year was called FIRST Reefscape. In this game team score points by scoring pvc pipes called coral onto a reef and/or scoring an inflatable gym called algae into a high net or into a processor. The end game was to cling onto a cage for additional points.

NE District Event - Granite State
This was our first competition of the season. There, our team performed well enough to place 8th after qualifying matches, allowing us to captain an alliance in playoffs. We got through 3 matches in playoffs with alliance partners FRC 663 and FRC 3623 before, unfortunately, getting beat by the first alliance. We also won the Judges' Award which recognizes our unique effort in our outreach and our robot’s performance.
NE District Event - Greater Boston
This was our second competition of the season. We placed 2nd in qualifying matches, becoming the 2nd alliance captain and making our way to the finals with our alliance team 8626 and team 6324. Our team ended as finalists after getting beat in the finals, securing us medals and a place in district championships. The judges also recognized us for a second time with the Judges' Award, recognizing us for our robot's unique design and great performance!
NE District Championship
We qualified to compete in the New England District Championship as our third event of the season. In this event we were able to compete and work with the best teams in the district. Unfortunately this was the end of our season, but we finished the year ranked 51st out of 190 teams in the New England district.
