Our team was founded in 2016, and we're still active to this day. We are a team made out of students in Somerville High School from grades 8-12, as well as multiple mentors and a team alum who provide guidance and support. Our team is committed to building robots, competing in FIRST Robotics Competition, and attending local events to foster interest in engineering and technology within our city. We are generally geared towards students who are interested in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics). However, we welcome anyone in our team, whether or not they have experience. We are willing to help each other out in order to better ourselves as a team and provide a fun, educational experience for everyone.

Donating anything would be so helpful to our team and the community we are creating in Somerville. We would use your money to fund towards our free outreach programs and continuing to keep the experience of FIRST available to every student in Somerville Public Schools at no cost to them. Aside from competition robots, our team also builds outreach robots that we bring to events in our city. In 2017, we built our first outreach robot which is a robot that shoots marshmallows and/or candy. In 2019, we built our second outreach robot that makes S'mores.
